History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Architect who has hired him part-time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Aelar's homeland. Aelar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aelar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult
