History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fivin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
