History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Detective for the past few years.

History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
