History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Masseuse, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Banker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Tharivol lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and to reunite with his absent father
