History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Uthemar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a Tanner soon after.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature dagger.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'4". He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a morningstar on his belt, and his gloved hand is found clutching a morningstar. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length white hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Varis is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Varis was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Cartwright. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: The child of a Masseuse, who enjoyed hunting, Arannis was taken on many hunting expeditions. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against gnolls
