History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. At some point he was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Peren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Carpenter work with an outfit from a few towns over.
