Through the years after Riardon was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Riardon's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Riardon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Rolen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
