Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Vanuath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
