History: Quarion hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Quarion and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
