History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Koeth learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Blacksmith.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Erdan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he is greedy
