History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. When Arannis reached his early adolescence his Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Arannis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and a deep hatred of illithids

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
