He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mercenary for the past few years.
