Upon awakening, Rael discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Quarion was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
