Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arannis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
