History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Jeweler. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Nim was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nim's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Carpenter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carpenter responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture
