History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
