Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Theren is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lamlis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now mingles about in high society.
