His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aelar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Aelar began to lead the lost caravan. Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and an old rival family wants him found
