History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
