History: Caeldrim was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to illithids. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
