History: Laucian was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Laucian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
