History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He takes great joy in being the best Baker in town.

History: Born in the south to a Baker, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Baker for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Unemployed. His golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the north
