History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but he was a colossal failure. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
