Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a barkeep and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has chestnut hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he desires power and/or immortality
