History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Korfel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Korfel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

History: Naeris was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Thervan was born with his mother's beautiful face. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
