History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his nunchaku. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are brown and beady.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His white hair is knotted and matted. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born into a rich family. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and to get a good night's sleep
