Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
