His father taught him the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Vanuath never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
