History: Quarion lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Bookbinder, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

He wears his golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Korfel lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son.
