History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
