History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Layabout, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Being a Mayor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
