Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. After months of barely getting by, Varis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great joy in being the best Painter in town.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Being a Painter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Nim reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: Born in the south to a Herbalist, Thervan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and to be a bricklayer again
