His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shoemaker arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Carrie was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Carrie's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Carrie and his spouse have recently divorced.
