History: Gifted from a young age, Peren studied abroad. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
