The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
