Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Laborer born in the past three hundred years. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mindartis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
