His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

After coming to the age of reason, Efferil took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
