History: Raer hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A freak accident while working with his Barkeep mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.
