History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He has a very tight haircut. He has a dull look in his hazel eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Arannis isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arannis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Arannis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Rolen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
