History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Born in the north to a Soapmaker, Gennal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Koeth was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
