Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Elven culture. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
