History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Paelias was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Berrian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
