History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quarion grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quarion. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gennal embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gennal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the south. Raer was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Baker. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to share knowledge with the world

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
