Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Theriatis alone in the world. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats
