History: He comes from a rich western family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After months of barely getting by, Soveliss managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mindartis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Mindartis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.
