Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in a small plains village. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Arannis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Arannis. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
