History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Lamlis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shoemaker responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
