The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Heian took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Gifted from a young age, Quarion studied abroad. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Navigator who has hired him part-time. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Enialis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to settle down with his crush
