History: Soveliss was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Soveliss grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Soveliss. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Beiro was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Seamstress. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
