History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His white hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Theriatis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east.
